What we do

Sage Green Strategies is a sustainability consulting firm specializing in green building certifications and corporate sustainability strategy. We partner with architects, developers, building owners, and contractors to deliver efficient, high-performance spaces that are as beautiful as they are sustainable.

  • Lisa Marshall is the Principal at Sage Green Strategies, with over 26 years of experience in design, construction, and sustainability. A licensed architect in Colorado and California, she’s an expert in sustainable building, energy efficiency, and low-impact materials. Lisa is a LEED AP (BD+C and ID+C) and a certified GreenPoint Rater, with a track record of consulting on a wide range of commercial and residential projects.

    Before founding Sage Green in 2013, she held senior roles at DNV KEMA, Gensler, and Jones Lang LaSalle. Her work spans sectors from healthcare and education to retail and government, always with sustainability at the core. Lisa leads a passionate team ready to bring smart, efficient solutions to every project.

She is passionate about creating healthier, more sustainable spaces through WELL, Fitwel, and CHPS certifications, while also helping organizations advance ESG reporting, GHG accounting, and emissions reduction strategies.
